Electricians the GTA trusts with the whole job

Licensed, insured electricians for homes and businesses across the GTA — standby generators, panel upgrades, pot lights, Gemstone Lights. Tell us about the job and we'll come back with a straight quote.

What we do

One crew for the whole electrical job

Jayco made its start in the Pickering area with one idea: take on the projects other shops hesitate over, and finish them above the standard. That still means one capable crew — with the carpentry and welding skills to solve problems a straight electrician can't.

  • Panel & service upgrades

Older panels, added circuits, EV and hot-tub loads — we bring the heart of your electrical system up to today's demand and code.

  • Pot lights & recessed lighting

Clean, evenly-spaced pot lights in kitchens, basements and living spaces — cut in tidily, wired right, finished without the mess.

  • EV charger installation

A dedicated Level 2 charger sized to your panel and your car, installed so it charges fast and safely every night.

  • Lighting & LED upgrades

Energy-efficient LED retrofits, layered lighting design and fixture swaps that lower the bill and lift the whole room.

  • New builds & renovations

Full electrical for new construction and high-end renovations — planned with you, roughed in on schedule, finished to show off.

  • Repairs & troubleshooting

Flickering lights, dead outlets, a breaker that keeps tripping — we track the fault to its source and fix the cause, not the symptom.

  • Commercial & industrial

Lighting design, power, fire-alarm and fire-door wiring, and maintenance for shops, offices, warehouses and clinics that can't afford downtime.

  • Exterior & parking-lot lighting

Soffit, landscape, parking-lot and security lighting that makes a property safer after dark and looks intentional doing it.

When the grid goes down

Keep the lights — and the heat, and the sump pump — on

Ontario storms don't ask permission. A Jayco standby generator watches your power around the clock and takes over the moment it fails — no extension cords, no spoiled fridge, no flooded basement. We size the system to your property, install it on a proper pad, and keep it serviced so it's ready the one night you need it.

  • Automatic transfer — it starts itself, you don't have to be home
  • Right-sized for a single circuit or the whole property
  • Installed and maintained by the crew that put it in

In their words

The Jayco difference, from the people who hired us

Jason and his team upgraded my panel and ran wiring for a sauna and EV charger. Jason was quick to come for a quote and to do the work. The price quoted was honoured and everything has been working very well.
Robert C. Panel upgrade, sauna & EV charger
Jayco did an amazing job installing our standby generator system for our clinic, as well as exterior pot lights and parking-lot lights. I would highly recommend Jason and his team to anyone looking to have electrical work done.
Michele T. Standby generator & commercial lighting
First class service on our new build. They were here when they said they would be and were absolutely critical to have alongside us on the project. Offered great suggestions we hadn't thought of. Workmanship second to none.
Shannon S. New construction

Where we work

Rooted between Pickering and Uxbridge — working across the GTA

Jayco started in Pickering and never lost that local footing. Today the same crew travels across the Greater Toronto Area and well beyond it — up into Muskoka and the Kawartha Lakes when the project calls for it. If your town isn't on the list, ask — chances are we already go there.

Good questions

Answers before you pick up the phone

Which areas do you cover?

We're based between Pickering and Uxbridge and work across the Greater Toronto Area — including Aurora, Newmarket, Stouffville and Goodwood — and out to Durham Region, Muskoka and the Kawarthas.

Do you work on homes and businesses?

Both. Jayco handles residential, commercial and industrial electrical — from pot lights and panel upgrades in a house to lighting design and power for a shop, office, warehouse or clinic.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Our electricians are licensed and insured, and every job is done to code. We're also a Baeumler Approved contractor.

Will I get a quote before any work starts?

Always. We come out, look at the actual conditions and give you a clear quote up front — and the price we quote is the price you pay.

What is a standby generator, and do I need one?

A standby generator sits outside your property and switches your power over automatically when the grid goes down, so the heat, sump pump, fridge and lights keep running. We size, install and maintain full standby systems for homes and businesses that can't afford to go dark.

What are Gemstone Lights?

Gemstone Lights are permanent, app-controlled LED fixtures tucked into your roofline — architectural accent lighting all year, holiday colours on demand, with no ladders and no tangled strings. We're an authorized dealer and installer.
